Rosh HaNikra Day Trip Transportation

Rosh Hanikra sits right at the Lebanese border - a cable car ride down to sea-level grottoes carved into white chalk cliffs, and about as far north as a day trip from the airport reasonably goes.

About 150 km, typically 105 minutes via the coastal highway (Route 2/4) all the way up past Haifa and Acre. This is a long day-trip drive, so it's worth confirming your visit isn't rushed once you're there.

The grottoes themselves take an hour or two including the cable car; some visitors combine the stop with Acre's Old City on the way up or down, since it's directly on the same coastal road.

Given the distance, this is one trip where we'd recommend an early start and a clear return time agreed in advance, rather than an open-ended pickup.
